RESEARCH AND MANAGEMENT PROFILE
She participated in fund raising about 1 million USD in external (international organization) and government funding from 2017 until now as a PI and Co-PI. She has more than 10 year experiences working as a senior researcher and also work as a project manager, a project coordinator of many projects in the field of livelihood development, natural resource governance, natural disaster and climate change, sustainable development, climate-smart agriculture, gender, funded by the CARE International in Vietnam, CARE Australia, AusAID,..... She have experience in managing projects from conception to completion. She is experienced and competent in research design, observation and collection, analysis and report of primary and secondary data sources. Besides, she has extensive experience of qualitative and quantitative methods and can use competently some useful software such as SPSS, SAS… in data analysis. Otherwise, she has so many publications related to climate-smart agriculture, value chain, climate change, gender…. Which have been published in famous specialized journal such as Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems, Indian Journal of Traditional Knowledge, International Food Research Journal, etc..
Hoa has a strong internal and external network of research collaborations with domestic and international universities, institutions, organization such as CARE international in Viet Nam, Plan Organization, Minnesota University, NGOs in Vietnam, etc..She also work as a training and agricultural technical consultant and gender for NGOs, local officials, as well as a lecturer at Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry. She taught several graduate and undergraduate courses such as Gender in Development, rural assessment, Community Development. She also have a lot of experience in ToT training for local staff on gender, Agriculture value chain, as well as production development techniques. She has also developed leadership and management skills while serving as Deputy Director and Director of Agriculture and Forestry Research & Development Centre for Mountainous Region (ADC). She is experienced in organizing and leading a team, initiating and leading projects, proposing budgets, administering finance, and preparing reports.
